Welcome home to Liberty Hill, where the streets are lined with more than just homes, but the vibrant pulse of shared experiences, opportunities, and awaiting connections! Active participation in your community fosters a sense of belonging, strengthens social bonds, and empowers individuals to collectively shape their neighborhoods. Community connections also help you lower stress, anxiety, and improve your mental health. It’s easy to get involved and connect with your neighbors in Liberty Hill!
Liberty Hill University
Liberty Hill University is a way to bridge the gap between community members and local government. At the five-session “university,” you’ll gain exclusive access to city departments, functions, and provide the city insight into the wants and needs of the community overall. You’ll learn about economic development, planning, public works, and parks and recreation. All ages are welcome to sign up, and you only have to attend four of the five sessions to graduate.
Grass and Roots Volunteer Coalition
You can make a positive change in the community just by volunteering! The Grass Roots Liberty Hill Volunteer Coalition helps homeowners who are physically and financially unable to maintain their property to proper code compliance. When you volunteer, you will match with a homeowner who needs assistance. You’ll help prevent them from being cited for code violations and create safe, beautiful, and bright communities. It’ll be fun and rewarding to contribute to the personal lives of neighbors in the community and the city of Liberty Hill!
Become a Vendor
If you buy or sell goods or offer services in the community, becoming a vendor is an excellent way to meet and connect with many neighbors while also helping the city. Liberty Hill offers year-round events, and the city is always looking for vendors, food trucks, sponsors, and volunteers to make them successful. Join the mailing list to stay in the know and get links to sign up. Some of the can’t-miss events this year are Whimsy & Wonder, Independence Day Spectacular, and the Christmas Festival.
