Operation Liberty Hill

For the past ten years, Operation Liberty Hill has diligently served our community by providing a food pantry, thrift store, and financial help. Over the years, the OPL has grown its services and programs to include Rise Up, Kids Summer Snacks, Operation Share the Warmth, Blue Santa, and others.

 

As a volunteer-powered organization, interested volunteers can choose whatever shifts and sections work best for their schedule, whether in Donations/Sorting, Food Pantry, or the Thrift Store.

 

Arms of Hope Donation Station

 

Arms of Hope is a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to supporting and lovingly extending a hand to some of our culture's most underprivileged children and single-mother families by giving housing, essentials, and life skills at their highest moment of need.

 

Aside from donations, Arms of Hope welcomes donations and volunteers to help improve the lives of many children and families in the Liberty Hill community. All volunteers must be age 14 and above and complete a background check. 

 

Community Pathway Organization

 

Community Pathways Organization (CPO) is a non-profit organization that helps youth, young people, and their families through life's problems. The goal is for individuals to graduate, complete trade school or college, and have the knowledge and skills to secure family-sustaining jobs. CPO collaborates with Liberty Hill Independent School District to identify and support struggling adolescents and families.

 

With the zeal to transform the Liberty Hill community, there is a growing need for donations and volunteers within the CPO in Liberty Hill. According to the CPO website, residents may volunteer under the mentorship program or administrative duties. 

 

Hope House 

 

For almost 55 years, Hope House has provided long-term housing with affection and support to children and adults with disabilities throughout the Liberty Hill community and Central Texas.

 

According to the Hope House website, the organization's primary purpose is to provide a forever home to people with the most severe mental and physical disabilities in a loving family environment free of isolation and restraints while providing care, treatment, and love.

 

And, because most Hope House patients are non-verbal and require 24-hour care for all of their needs, there is an ongoing need for donations.

 

L4 Cares

 

L4 Cares is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in March 2017. L4 Cares for the least, the last, the lost, and the lonely through four programs focusing on senior citizens, active and retired military, families with a child diagnosed with a terminal illness, and people in crisis.

 

L4 Cares charity frequently sends costumed superheroes to visit hospitalized children and can financially assist families, in one case paying for a fully furnished apartment for 90 days.

 

While still a young organization, only in its fourth year, the charity's message is spreading throughout the Liberty Hill community and attracting a slew of donors through the Be Our SuperHero program.

 

Liberty Hill Public Library

 

The Liberty Hill Public Library is the Liberty Hill community's learning center and a place to enrich lives through information, education, and enjoyment.

 

With the introduction of FREE summer reading programs for children and other family-friendly activities, the Liberty Hill Public library constantly needs donations and volunteers. According to the LHPL website, donations can be made online or in person.
