The Liberty Hill Christmas Festival is just around the corner, and it's shaping up to be one of the year's most exciting events! On Saturday, December 14, 2024, the city of Liberty Hill will be buzzing with holiday cheer, welcoming families, friends, and neighbors to celebrate the season with a full day of festivities.
Everything You Need to Know About the Liberty Hill Christmas Festival
The day kicks off early with the Jingle Bell Run, a 5K race that will take participants through the charming streets of Liberty Hill. Starting at 8:00 AM at Santa Rita Middle School, the run is the perfect way to get moving and jump-start your day of holiday fun.
After the run, the action moves to Downtown Liberty Hill, where the festival will take place from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event will be set along Main Street, between RR 1869 and 279, with vendors lining the streets, offering unique, hand-crafted gifts that are perfect for your holiday shopping list.
The fun doesn't stop there! From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, you'll find a variety of exciting activities to enjoy, including the Reindeer Games for kids, where they can play fun holiday-themed games, and the Sleigh Bell Showcase, featuring beautiful seasonal displays and crafts. The Snap & Celebrate Nook will also be available for families to take holiday photos, making it the perfect spot to capture festive memories.
One of the most anticipated parts of the day is the parade, which will take place at 6:00 PM on Main Street. The parade is a holiday tradition that draws crowds from all over, with festive floats, local groups, and plenty of Christmas cheer to enjoy.
Free Admission and Fun for All
Thanks to generous sponsorships, Liberty Hill Christmas Festival admission is entirely free! However, make sure to bring cash or credit cards if you plan on enjoying food, beverages, or shopping with the many vendors.
Parking at the event is made easy with a free pedicab service. You can catch a ride to and from the festival at several pick-up locations, including Cross Tracks Church, Foundation Park, Liberty Hill Elementary School, Noble Elementary School, and One Chapel. Avoid parking at City Hall and the Water Tower Parking Lot on December 13 after 11:00 PM, as these areas will be reserved for event setup.
Road Closures to Be Aware Of
To ensure everything runs smoothly, there will be a few road closures on the festival day. Main Street and side streets between RR 1869 and Munro will be closed from 6:45 AM until 10:00 PM. RR 1869 will remain open, but drivers won't be able to cross Main Street during the parade. Additional closures from Munro to Noble Elementary will occur from 5:45 PM until 10:00 PM.
