Life in Liberty Hill is getting better all the time! There are several new businesses around town — and many more new ones on the horizon. From new local restaurants and food spots on the way to a locally owned liquor store and Sherwin-Williams paint shop under construction, exciting developments are coming to town! Here’s a rundown of the latest information.
Now Open: The Daily Blend
Are you looking for a restaurant with healthy options? The Daily Blend’s got you covered! The menu features avocado toasts, smoothies, salads, protein bites, hummus, and sandwiches that will provide you the energy to take on the day. Breakfast includes avocado and green toast with fruit, green or protein smoothies, and more. For lunch, enjoy a turkey sandwich with Greek yogurt pesto sauce or a berry pecan salad. Need an energy lift? Grab a protein bite, snack cup, or yogurt parfait. They also offer healthy bites your kids will actually eat (like PB&J!). They’ve been open since mid-November at 13740 W. Hwy. 29.
Now Open: Michelle’s Patisserie
Food Network Big Bake Holiday 2022 winner Michelle Doyon and her staff make unbeatable pastries, cupcakes, and other sweet treats at Michelle’s Patisserie at 1908 Main St. If you want cake or cupcakes, you can select specialty flavors like amaretto peach, banana rum, and honey lavender, or traditional ones like German chocolate and Italian crème. Plus, there are cheesecake squares, macarons, petits fours, fruit tartlets, and cookies. You can also get gorgeous wedding cakes and schedule showers and parties in their tea room. Your sweet tooth will no doubt be satisfied!
Coming Soon: Freedom Libations
Freedom Libations will be so much more than a liquor store. When it opens this month at 15050 W. Hwy. 29, Ste. 180, you’ll be able to find what you need for a party or get-together all in one place. You are bound to find what you need with available products like energy drinks, mixers, paper goods, custom charcuterie boards, bar utensils, and more. And if you don’t, they’ll order it for you! Plus, they will offer personalized gift baskets, bar gifts, glassware, and liquor bottles.
Coming Soon: La Tequila Jalisco
Also coming soon is La Tequila Jalisco, a Mexican restaurant that will be open for all three daily meals. After it opens this spring at 13850 Hwy. 29, you can get huevos divorciados (eggs with green and red sauce on a corn tortilla) for breakfast and agua chiles shrimp cured in lime and then marinated in spicy sauce for lunch. Or go for a traditional dish with a twist, like fajitas norteñas with beef, chicken, and chorizo. Don’t forget the margarita or cerveza on the side!
Coming Soon: Sherwin-Williams
Sherwin-Williams is estimated to be open this April as your new go-to spot for home projects. They are building a 4,499-square-foot store at 12360 W. Hwy 29 that will offer paint, supplies, stains, concealers, and expert advisors and contractors you can hire to assist with your vision and project. You can decorate or add new paint to your dream home in Lariat with confidence!
